My little girl and hirami lemons are the best gifts God has ever given me.
Many people have asked me why I went from the stainless steel industry to the biotech food industry.
During the process of raising my little girl, I experienced the improvement of my health from the Lemon and felt the significance of environmental symbiosis. The miracle I experienced, I wanted people to experience with me, so I founded Hiraminano.
It is my deepest wish that more people can benefit from the Hirami lemon.
When I was young, I travelled all over the world all alone, engaging in international trade with perseverance and a spirit of not admitting defeat.
Later, I got involved in the stainless steel manufacturing industry and by chance, I met my husband, who married me and lived in Holland already for a long time. After the birth of our first son, we thought of having a second child, but it seemed it was simple impossible, no matter what help we called in. Although our stainless steel business was going well, we couldn’t fulfill the expectations of our family members, which couldn’t be achieved just by the spirit of non-negotiation.
It was a coincidence that I got to know Taiwan’s Hirami lemon, because the European Union’s carbon tax is very strict, and European companies are committed to pursuing carbon reduction, and I got to know Taiwan’s unique variety of Hirami lemon through the matchmaking of recognizing the forest’s carbon credits (recognizing the forests to absorb carbon dioxide in the air and to reduce the earth’s warming).
At first, I just took the lemon juice as a complimentary product of the forest carbon credits program, and I also liked the subtle taste of the lemon juice in plain water, so I drank it for a while. Later on, I felt more energetic, slept well, did loose weight and had more energy, as if I was back to my youthful days when I was working hard. And most importantly, my wish was realized. I conceived my second child, just naturally without medical assistance.
During my pregnancy, in addition to carefully nurturing my baby, I also read a lot of agricultural research and scientific literature, which confirmed that Taiwan’s unique species, the Hirami lemon, has a variety of rich nutrients and is a very precious natural ingredient.
With the birth of my little girl, my husband and I have fulfilled our wish. I am grateful and realize that the environment gives back to mankind, and mankind should pursue the philosophy of coexistence with the environment.
I’ve been paying more attention to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and carbon reduction, not because of the EU’s carbon tax and tariff (CBAM), but because of my heartfelt quest to reconcile with the natural environment, and the greenhouse effect, which is the earth’s counter-attack on mankind. The EAT-Lancet Commission on Food, Planet, Health, designed by The Lancet, an international medical journal, in collaboration with Eat Forum, a non-governmental organization, also appealed to me. Reducing the amount of animal food not only reduces carbon significantly, but also benefits human health, of which I am a personal beneficiary.
As my youngest daughter grew up, I felt a strong desire to invest heavily in nutritional extraction technology for Hirami lemons, and later in sugar-free fermentation technology. After obtaining patents in various countries, I founded Hiraminano. The Hirami lemon is a precious gift from nature to mankind, and Hiraminano is another precious daughter of me. It is my deepest wish that more people can benefit from the Hirami lemon.
